what to bring

For people arriving early in Vancouver who need billeting phone Billy on 778.878.6887 after 5 pm for a place to stay.

***On July 31st, August 1st, and August 2nd we will meet each ferry sailing to drive people from Langdale ferry terminal to the Queeruption site. On August 3rd and after, we will meet 3 ferries per day. These ferries will be the 11:45 am sailing, the 4:10 pm sailing, and the 10:20 pm sailing. These are the departure times for the ferries leaving Horseshoe Bay (the ferry terminal in Vancouver), so if you're coming to Queeruption on August 3rd or later, please try to be on one of these ferries, or you may need to wait a few hours at the Langdale ferry terminal for the next Queeruption shuttle.

Queeruption is a radical, free, DIY, queer gathering that happens in a different city
around the world each year. Each Queeruption is a bit different, but in general
Queeruption aims to bring together a diverse group of queers from all over who wish
to challenge the racist, sexist, classist, consumer-oriented gay mainstream.

Who We Are and What We're Doing

Queeruption is a participatory event. This means that the gathering requires the
active input of everyone attending in order for it to be meaningful. There is no
difference between the people organizing and those attending from different cities.
We all work together and contribute what we can to make the event a success. Come
with your passion, ideas and skills and prepare to learn, share, question and create
the alternatives you want to see in the world.

We want to do everything we can to make Queeruption Vancouver as accessible as
possible. If you’re differently abled or would like assistance in any way to be able
to participate in Queeruption, please let us know.
