July 18, 2007: Radikal Queer Bingo (Stockholm)

Queeruption DIY/Radical info fair: Saturday June 30th

12 pm-5 pm Centre A Gallery

Come learn more about Queeruption Vancouver, share your ideas and concerns, and learn more about the political activities happening in this city. The Queeruption Info Fair will feature:

-An up to date schedule of workshops, bands, and events occuring at Q10

-Zinesters selling/giving away/trading zines

-2 film screenings: A film made at Queeruption 2002 (in London UK) and the film "Third Antenna" about radical drag performance.

-Tables featuring local individuals and groups working on radical and DIY projects:
Spartacus Books, No one is Illegal, Our Community Bikes, Free Geek, Redwire Magazine, and more.

-Discussion Groups on Queeruption related issues: 12 pm- sex party discussion group, 3 pm- discussion group on accessibility at Queeruption.

$2 requested donation, absolutely no one turned away for lack of funds. Childcare provided and children are welcome.

Cabaret will feature: puppetry, burlesque, drag, DJs, live music and radical performance art. Confirmed performers include: BYO Cabaret, Malaika Millions, Posse Core (from Vancouver Island) and Alyson Fun (from Vonnegut Dollhouse).

9pm - Cabaret Doors open

This is going to be fucking awesome. It's a Queeruption fundraiser with a '1929' theme, brought to you by 'Team Satan' (who created the amazing Haloween haunted house this past fall). There will be gambling, a bawdy house (with kissing, spanking, and a peep show!), music, dancing, a bachelor/bachelorette auction, and more.
