~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~Since the end of Queeruption 99 in NYC, one of the main focus of organizers has been to start a broad communications network for queer radicals all over the world. These projects are just beginning, and we encourage you to check back to the queer.tao.ca website for the most recent news and updates. If you're interested in helping out with these efforts, check out some of the options below, or drop a line to queer@tao.ca and let us know how you think you can help out with these exciting new projects!
Some of the first ideas discussed that have been set into motion include the conception of some new queer radical email lists. This is really just the starting point. There are so many other great ideas that have been conceptualized as ways to help facilitate and further communication between queer radicals all over the world. One of the ways that you can help to learn about what is going on, and let your voice be heard is to check out some of the email lists below.
As the project develops, and we begin to distribute some of the work load this project requires, expect to see many more exciting things happening! If you're not interested in joining up with one of the mailing lists, but want to know what's going on check back to the queer.tao.ca website as we will have web based archives of the email lists available (so you can see what's happening with the discussion) and other things such as message boards and possibly a few newsgroups.
One last note...be sure to check out the main tao site (www.tao.ca), if you haven't already. It is because of all the work that the tao workers do that we are able to provide all of this!

tao-queer is a list that was created after queeruption to help
establish a means of communication for radical queers all over the world.
this list does not as of yet have a solid defining point, something we
hope to develop over the course of the next couple of weeks. |

queer-www is an email list for all those interested in working on the queer.tao.ca web project. this email list will serve the purpose of distributing the workload, and make the maintenance of the website much more of a collective effort. you do not need to have any technical skills to join this email list...we will need input from techies and non-techies alike. you also do not have to join the email list to make suggesstions or contributions. if you do not want to join the list, but would like to make a comment, simply send it to: queer@tao.ca. *note: this list only exists in a regular format. |
